Our commitment to providing you with a satisfactory moving experience cannot be matched.  We have invested heavily over recent years into training, technology and equipment to develop a better process of managing a customer’s relocation.

Move Coordinators:  Our move coordinators operate from a program that generates daily tasks to communicate with customers, drivers and other United agents.  They serve as the central point of contact for all involved in the relocation.  These daily tasks ensure that we are thorough and that nothing is overlooked.  On a weekly basis, the coordinators performance is evaluated so that we are certain our customers are receiving excellent customer service.

Expedited Problem Resolution:  From our customized software, if a customer has a complaint or a problem, the move coordinator will log the details of the problem and generate an automatic email notice which is sent to our Vice President, Sales Manager and Quality Manager, as well as anyone else who needs to be notified.  This notification allows us to take a ‘team’ approach to finding resolution.

In-House Customer Service and Claims:  Most Van Lines will handle all customer service and claims through their corporate office.  Due to the sheer volume of customers United Van Lines claims can be delayed longer than is necessary.  To circumvent the possible run-around all claims and customer service inquiries are handled through Mergenthaler Transfer & Storage corporate office.  This allows us to provide faster and more personal responses to our customer’s needs.

After Hours Emergency Number:  With most of our competition if you experience a moving emergency after hours you will receive an answering service or answering machine.  We provide on-call management who have the authority to provide real solutions after business hours.  This demonstrates our complete commitment to providing an excellent moving experience.
